All of our video packages include a story session. That’s where we carve out some time so we can really get to know your story.
We’ll typically do two-story sessions.
First story session
STORY SESSIONS
We sit down, grab a (virtual) drink and you two can tell your story. We want to know everything: how you met, what your first impression of each other was, what you love the most about the other person, what your hopes for your future are etc. Carving out this time lets us get acquainted with your love story so we can bring it vividly to life on camera.
6 months before the wedding.
second story session
We get together in-person. We’ll come armed with all of our fancy mics and cameras and capture the conversation between you two. We basically cover what we talked about in the first story session but this time we can use the footage for your final edit. It’s also a great opportunity for us to connect and get familiar with each other ahead of the big day.

If you hire me for your wedding, I’ll have a second shooter with me to capture either the footage or photo. Having two of us means that we’ll capture even more moments from your day.
Do you capture video and photo at the same time?
Absolutely I do! I’ve been all across Texas and the states. So far, my favorite location has been Portland, OR. I’m also open to going outside the States for destination weddings. I do charge for travel costs but I’ll work with you to get the best deals to suit your budget.
Do you travel for weddings?
I always love getting the drone out! Of course, drone use varies depending on FAA and weather. I don’t use it during the ceremony or during the day (because it’s do dang noisy) but I use it to record the venue and grounds.
Can we have a drone at our wedding?
My packages include all different types of footage. But if you want something that I haven’t mentioned, let’s chat about it!
Can we pick the footage we want?
Sure! Your wedding day is filled with so much activity and excitement that it’s easy for you to miss things. I offer an add-on of all footage of the day with a partial edit. If you want to know more, ask me about the archival film.
can we have the raw footage?
I aim to send your wedding video 12 weeks after your wedding day. Times can vary depending on my work schedule. But I promise you, it’ll be worth the wait!
When will we get my wedding video?
Sadly no. Copyright law means you can’t just pick any song. (I know it sucks!) I pick the right music for my couples by really getting to know them and leaning into their story. Music is a super important part of the wedding video experience and I’ll always pick something that fits your vibe.
